Objective

This customer was looking for a flexible solution that was easy to use and allowed changes to be carried out in the layout. The air film transporter was to be used in a production line for wind power station gears.

Air film transporter

The air film transporter is designed to be used for moving both storage pallets and assembly rigs. It is pneumatically driven and equipped with two drive units. The capacity is 12 tons.

Result

Solving was able to provide a total handling system. The solution is simple and easy to maintain, and the units are designed to be utilized as an integrated material handling package. Thanks to the assembly rigs good accessibility is provided during assembly.
