Who collects information, and will it be transferred to anyone else?

Your personal data is used by Solving staff in relevant functions. Customer information and requests can also be shared with our local business partners who handle customer requests and local sales and services. They process personal data based on their own privacy policies.

Solving is a part of Solving Group, and to offer you relevant services, we might share your information with other companies in the group.

In some cases, we outsource some parts of the data processing to third parties, such as the data systems used to store and process personal data as well as some marketing functions. We only use third party partners that comply with all applicable legislation to ensure that your data is still secured, confidential and used lawfully.

Information might be disclosed to fulfil contractual or legal obligations or when a legal authority requires a disclosure. We might also disclose your personal data if we are a part of a business sale, such as a merger or an acquisition.

What information is collected?

We collect information from you when you fill out a form on the website (information request, career form). We collect work-related contact details and your interests in our products and services. We use Google Analytics and Leadfeeder to analyse how our website is being used to continuously develop the content of the site. For e-mail newsletters we use MailChimp to analyse reading patterns in order to evaluate what content is most interesting to our readers. Thus, the information we collect consists mainly of the following: Your name and title, contact details (e.g. phone number and e-mail address), name, contact details and area of business of the enterprise and information concerning the behavior on our website.

You can use our website anonymously, but to access some of our documentation you might be required to registrate a user-specific account.

Why is information collected and how will it be used?

We mainly process personal data for the following purposes:
• Marketing activities and for offering our products and services. These activities might include marketing analytics, marketing research and direct marketing;

We store personal data only as long as it is necessary for the purpose or as required by contract or law. The time we store the data varies depending on the purpose and situation. We aim to regularly delete personal data we no longer need from our records. Thus, outdated and unnecessary information will be destroyed in an appropriate way.

Any data will be marked in the register in the same way as the registered has reported it and the data will be updated when the registered reports an update to us.

Our partners and server providers follow industry standards and practices. We protect personal data with user specific login, password and user rights.
