A transformer manufacturer wanted a more flexible solution than cranes and rails provided for handling 250-500-tonne transformers.
Solution
Two remote-controlled Air Film Movers were installed to move transformers from the production line to a test area and then to dispatch. The Movers can be used as single units or connected and used in pairs for handling 500-tonne transformers.
