4T battery-powered Mover for moving transformer bushings
Challenge
A manufacturer of transformer bushings needed equipment to handle bushings in a very narrow production area layout. It was therefore important that the Mover could drive omnidirectionally; forwards, backward, crosswise, and diagonally.
Solution
A customized battery-powered Mover was installed for the task. Being telescopic it is adjustable to loads of various lengths. A portable remote-control unit allows the operator to supervise and drive the Mover and bushings safely. Additional safety is provided by collision sensors.
