Construction

The air bearing transporter has a capacity of 10 tons and is equipped with a lifting device used for raising and lowering the transporter, thus facilitating the assembly. No additional lifting tools are needed when the wheels are mounted. The air bearing equipment is totally pneumatic and uses only normal compressed air.

Advantage

Solving air bearing transporter is easy to use. The transporter is flexible and enables omnidirectional movement. As the load is floating on a thin film of air throughout the assembly process, the transporter does not damage the floor. Thanks to the air film technology no fixed installations are needed, thus enabling future changes in the layout.

Result

Since no fixed installations are needed, the assembly line is easily accessible for material trolleys and tools. In addition, it is possible to make future changes to the factory layout when necessary. The air bearing technology provides also a high degree of reliability and manoeuvrability.
