Efficient tambour roll handling
A laser-guided Solving AGV is used to automate and thus ensure efficient handling of both tambour rolls weighing up to 12 tons and empty reels in the production area. In addition to normal safety devices, such as laser scanners, emergency stops, optical and audible signals, the automated guided vehicle is equipped with sensors indicating when tambour rolls and empty reels are positioned symmetrically on the AGV allowing for safe automated driving.
