Jan Backman has recently been appointed as Managing Director of Fluid-Bag Ltd, a subisidary of Solving. He will take up his new role with effect from 2nd February 2009. Mr. Backman a professional engineer has made a solid career at Wärtsilä, where he last headed the global project management organization for Wärtsilä Ship Power.

Mr. Backman looks forward to leading an international company manufacturing a modern product with great potential.

Based on his experience gained working within a large organization and a wish to work with a smaller company Mr. Backman is confident that a combination of close cooperation with customers and Fluid-Bag’s experienced staff will allow him to successfully lead Fluid-Bag through today’s difficult market conditions.

Fluid-Bag produces liquid containers for industrial use mainly within the chemical, lubricating oil, food and pharmaceutical industries.
